Frequently Asked Questions
How much does delivery cost?
Depending on the size of the order we offer Royal Mail Signed for and Parcelforce services. Our cheapest delivery option is £5.95 for Royal Mail Second Class Signed for, however, we're happy to provide free delivery on orders over £50.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We'll dispatch your order ASAP, usually within a day or two. UK orders shipped via Royal Mail for smaller orders and ParcelForce for larger ones. They usually arrive within a couple of days of dispatch and require a signature. Occasionally the postie takes a little longer than usual, but if your order goes missing, please get in touch.
My order broke in transit!
Although we take every care to package our pots safely for transit, this does happen from time to time, and it's always heartbreaking. Get in touch and send them back to us. When we receive them, we'll reimburse you for the cost of delivery and send you some new pots ASAP.
Can you ship outside of the UK?
Yes! We cover most of Europe, but also if you get in touch with us via email we can ship to wherever you please. You can see our area price guide here.
Will my items all be identical?
We make all our pots by hand, it's our thing, and we're passionate about it. However, this does mean there will be a little bit of variation in them. But that's the point, each pot is a bit different and bears the marks of a skilled potter.
Are your items ethically produced?
We really care about making our pots with minimal impact on the environment.
All our pots are made by skilled potters and apprentices in Cornwall. We use kick wheels when throwing (human leg powered), and green energy when firing. We source our clay locally in Cornwall and our glazes from the South West.
In addition, all our packaging is plastic free and the boxes are 80% recycled cardboard.
Do you accept returns?
For more information on this please take a look at our Returns Policy.
Are your items food safe?
Of course, all standard ware glazes have been independently tested and comply with Regulation (EC) Number 1935/2004 on Material and Articles in contact with food.
How do I look after my ceramics?
They're resilient! You can put them through the dishwasher.
Can I hire your items for a shoot?
Definitely! Please just get in touch.
Do you make custom orders or commissions?
Yes! In the past, we've done all sorts, including 150 custom designed cups (each with a unique makers mark) to be given out as wedding favours. If you have something in mind, reach out and we'll see what we can do.
