First impressions time. Here it goes...
You’re probably wondering who we are and what we’re all about.
Founded in 2015 and just now launching our first range, Dor & Tan is a startup, family owned and based in Cornwall. We design, make, and sell handmade products based on a simple design ethos: Uncomplicated and functional objects, designed and handmade for everyday. That’s it!
We commissioned the design of our first range of coffee cups from ceramic artist: Sharron Page Stocks. They are available in 3 sizes: 3, 6, and 8 fl oz. As the sizes indicate, they were designed as coffee cups but we’ve found that they get used for everything and anything imaginable. From the obvious tea and coffee, to cereal, yogurt, mug brownie, your favourite alcoholic tipple… Really it’s up to you and we’d love you to use our instagram hashtag (#dorandtan) to show us how you use yours.
Wherever possible we source locally and we encourage our makers to keep their environmental impact to a minimum. Sharron makes her pots by using a human powered kick wheel to throw and green energy to fire the pots.
